Nicholas was born on December 21, 1999, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Sokheurt Sao and Kay Ham. He was raised in a loving family environment, and from a young age, it was clear that Nicholas was destined for greatness. He was a proud graduate of North Rowan High School, where he made lifelong friends and built lasting memories. His academic and personal accomplishments during his school years were a reflection of his hard work and determination.

After graduating from high school, Nicholas joined the U.S. Army, where he served for over four years as an Intelligence Analyst. During his time in the military, Nicholas exemplified the values of dedication, integrity, and service. His commitment to his country and his role in providing critical intelligence made him an important asset to the armed forces. His colleagues and superiors alike recognized his professionalism, attention to detail, and the passion he brought to his work. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at 2:30 p.m. at City Memorial Park Cemetery, where Nicholas will be laid to rest.
