It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Leigh Anne Green, a cherished mother, wife, daughter, and friend, who tragically passed away on April 16th, 2025, at the age of 35 in Lawton, Oklahoma. In this time of sorrow, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her, as those closest to her strive to carry on the love and legacy she left behind.
Leigh Anne was first and foremost a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her beloved husband, Josh Green, and their four young children—Jackson, Sawyer, Beau, and Evangeline Green. For Leigh Anne, family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart and soul into nurturing and raising her children. As a mother, Leigh Anne was both loving and involved, always present for her children, guiding them with wisdom and affection. Whether it was cheering them on at sporting events, helping with homework, or sharing quiet moments together, Leigh Anne’s role as a mother was one of pure devotion. Her children, Jackson, Sawyer, Beau, and Evangeline, will forever carry her love, lessons, and legacy with them as they grow.
Leigh Anne’s relationship with her husband, Josh, was one built on mutual love, respect, and partnership. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and joy. They supported each other through life’s challenges and celebrated its triumphs. Leigh Anne was Josh’s rock, and her passing has left a gaping hole in his heart. Despite the sorrow he feels, Josh takes comfort in knowing that the love they shared was deep and enduring, and that their children will always carry the essence of their mother’s love within them.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Leigh Anne was a loving daughter and sister. She is survived by her father, Clay L. Stewart of Abilene, and her mother, Leigh Stewart (Little) of Lake Park. Leigh Anne had a special bond with her parents, who spoke of her with great pride and affection. She was always there for them, offering love, support, and guidance. Her family was at the core of who she was, and she consistently made them feel valued and appreciated. The loss of their daughter is immeasurable for Clay and Leigh, but they find comfort in knowing the incredible impact their daughter had on the lives of so many, including their own.
Leigh Anne was also a beloved sister to Lauryn Stewart. The bond between Leigh Anne and her sister was one of love and mutual support. As sisters, they shared countless memories, both joyful and challenging, and they always had each other’s backs. Lauryn, like the rest of the family, is struggling with the sudden loss of her sister, but she finds solace in knowing that the love they shared will never fade, and that Leigh Anne’s spirit will continue to guide her in the years to come.
Leigh Anne’s grandmothers, Ann Sumner and Suniko Miyagi, are also mourning the loss of their granddaughter, along with many other extended family members.
