Jesse Threlkeld, a senior at J.L. Mann High School in Greenville, South Carolina, and a dedicated member of the Patriots varsity baseball team, has tragically passed away. His untimely death has left the school community, teammates, coaches, and family in deep mourning.

As a student-athlete, Jesse was known for his commitment both on and off the field. Playing as an infielder and right-handed pitcher, he wore jersey number 14 and was a key contributor to the team’s success. In the 2024-25 season, he played in 20 games, achieving a batting average of .190 and an on-base percentage of .409. He recorded 11 hits, 5 RBIs, and scored 12 runs, demonstrating his consistent performance and dedication to the sport.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Jesse was recognized for his leadership and positive influence among peers. His presence in the dugout and on the field was marked by enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and a genuine love for the game. He was also involved with the Carolina Indians, a travel baseball team, further showcasing his passion and commitment to baseball.
