It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Landon Lemere, 21, who died in a single-vehicle crash near River Falls, Wisconsin, on the night of May 2, 2025.
According to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, Landon was driving alone in the 2600 block of Linden Road when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Despite the prompt response of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities are awaiting toxicology results to determine if impairment was a factor.
Landon was a lifelong resident of River Falls and a 2022 graduate of River Falls High School. He was known for his passion for outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and camping. He had recently begun working as a mechanic apprentice and was excited about his future career prospects.
A memorial service to honor Landon’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the River Falls Community Center. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the River Falls High School Outdoor Club, a cause close to Landon’s heart.
The family expresses their gratitude for the support and condolences received during this difficult time. They ask for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.
