A tragic shooting at an RV park in Montgomery County has left one man dead and another facing a murder charge. Authorities have confirmed that 58-year-old Timothy Sisco has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 67-year-old Billy Fisher, which occurred on Saturday afternoon.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 2 p.m. reporting gunfire at the 1485 East RV Park, located near the 24000 block of FM 1485. Deputies responded swiftly and arrived to find Fisher suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel and deputies immediately attempted life-saving measures, but despite their efforts, Fisher was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the sheriff’s office, the fatal incident appears to have stemmed from a long-standing dispute between Fisher and Sisco, who were neighbors within the RV community.

Witnesses at the scene reported hearing an argument escalate rapidly before the shots were fired. Authorities say several bystanders witnessed the altercation and were able to assist deputies in quickly identifying and detaining the suspect, who remained at the scene.

Timothy Sisco was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. On Sunday, he was formally charged with murder and is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office believe the shooting was an isolated event, with no ongoing threat to the broader community. “This was a dispute between two individuals that unfortunately turned violent,” a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said. “Thanks to the quick action of witnesses and responding officers, we were able to secure the scene and detain the suspect swiftly.”

The nature of the disagreements between Fisher and Sisco has not been fully disclosed, but officials confirmed that there had been previous tension between the two men. It is unclear whether law enforcement had been involved in prior disputes at the location.

The community at the RV park was left stunned by the violence, with residents expressing grief and shock at the fatal outcome. Neighbors described Billy Fisher as a quiet man who largely kept to himself, and some noted that he had lived at the park for several years.

As the investigation continues, detectives are gathering additional witness statements and reviewing surveillance footage in the area. The sheriff’s office is encouraging anyone with information that may assist in the case to come forward.

This incident highlights the volatility that can exist in close-living communities and underscores the importance of conflict resolution and communication in preventing tragic outcomes. Montgomery County officials are urging residents to report any escalating disputes or concerning behavior to law enforcement before situations turn violent.

As the legal process moves forward, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office is expected to prosecute the case. A court date for Sisco has not yet been announced.

The sheriff’s office expressed condolences to the family and friends of Billy Fisher, acknowledging the deep pain felt by those who knew him. “Our hearts go out to Mr. Fisher’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time,” the department said in a statement.

Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
